General
- What is Chiliconnect?
Chiliconnect is an add-on linked to the Chilipoker software. It allows you to share your results and play with or against your friends.
Chiliconnect automatically identifies you from your Chilipoker username and password - I have closed Chiliconnect by mistake. Is there another way to start it without starting the Chilipoker software?
Yes. You can start Chiliconnect from the bottom of the lobby 'Launch Chiliconnect'. To close it, just click on the red cross in the top right corner of Chiliconnect, like a regular internet page. - Why can't I use my default browser for Chiliconnect?
Although Chiliconnect is compatible with Mozilla Firefox, Chrome and other alternative browsers, for now it can only be used with Internet Explorer. We are working to change this in the next versions of Chiliconnect. - Are there any restrictions on the money won via Chiliconnect?
Your winnings at Chiliconnect are subject to the same terms and conditions as your winnings at Chilipoker.com. Chilipoker can for example request ID or a POA.
- I do not have a Facebook account. Can I still use Chiliconnect?
Yes. You will not be able to use all the great features, like share my results, but you will be able to challenge your friends. - How do I link my Facebook account with Chiliconnect?
When you arrive on Chiliconnect for the first time you will see "Connect to Facebook". Click here and enter your Facebook username and password.
And that's it! You have now linked both accounts.

- Why do I have to enter my Facebook password every time?
Tick "Keep me logged in" when you link your Facebook account to your Chiliconnect account.

- Is all my information automatically shared on Facebook?
No, you decide what you want to publish on your Facebook account and nothing will be published without your authorization. - What kind of information can I share on Facebook?
You can share all your results: cash games, SnGs, tournaments, challenges... It will create a message on your wall with your latest achievements for all your friends to see.
Connect Players
- What is "Connect Players"?
Connect Players allows you to add friends. You will be able to see the results and info about these players on Chiliconnect. - How do I add a friend?
Go to "My list" and click on "Add a player to my list". You will need to know the nickname of the players that you want to add.

- Can I add anybody?
Yes, except if they have removed the possibility for you to do so. If you wish to be invisible on Chiliconnect you can do this via 'settings'. Also a player needs to have been active in at least one tournament (even for free) or in a cash game to appear in the list. Do not forget that you can only add Chilipoker players. - Can I add as many friends as I want?
Yes, there are no limitations on the number of friends that you can have on Chiliconnect.
Sidebet/Challenge
- Where can I see my pending challenges?
As soon as your challenge is accepted, you will see it in "History" under the "Challenge and Sidebet" section and with the following status: Open or Pending - This depends on whether or not a player has already accepted the challenge. - When I created or accepted a challenge, I received this message: Your withdrawal has been accepted. What does it mean?
It means that the money has been taken from your account for you to participate in the challenge. Chilipoker acts as an escrow, taking the money before the challenge starts, to ensure the safest conditions for all players. - My challenge is over but the money has still not been credited onto my account?
It can take a few hours to credit the winner of a challenge, swapping or side bet. - What is the difference between a public and a private challenge?
For a private challenge, you have to know the nickname of your opponent(s) while for a public one, you do not need to enter a nickname and anybody can accept the challenge. - Is it free to create a challenge or to participate in a challenge?
Yes, Chilipoker offers you a new feature but doesn't charge you at all. No fees are taken at any point. - Somebody sent me a challenge but I cannot see it on Chiliconnect, why?
It takes a few minutes for a challenge to appear on Chiliconnect. You can click on the icon
to refresh it faster. - Can I do sidebets in free tournaments?
For now, only tournaments with a buy-in can be used for sidebets. - Can I cancel a challenge created?
Yes, as long as you cancel it before somebody has confirmed their participation. When somebody confirms their participation, the conditions depend on the type of challenge and please refer to the relevant FAQs. - How many challenges can I have active at the same time?
As many as you want!
Last Longer
- I cannot bet as much as I want in my Last Longer, why?
The amount that you can bet cannot exceed 100% of the buy-in. - How many players can participate in a Last Longer?
Up to 6 but the Last Longer will be effective as soon as two players participate in the tournament. The conditions of each last longer are given on Chiliconnect and on the emails that you receive. - I created or participated in a Last Longer but I didn't play the tournament. Is my money lost?
No, the money will be refunded to your account. It can take up to several hours to get refunded after the end of the tournament. - Can I cancel my participation in a Last Longer before a tournament starts?
Not directly, but as described in question 3, if you do not participate in a tournament, your last longer is cancelled. - Can I cancel my participation in a Last Longer after a tournament starts?
If you play the tournament, the Last Longer cannot be cancelled. - Can I set up a Last Longer for a tournament already started?
Yes you can, up to 30 minutes after the start of the tournament. - The tournament crashed. How is the Last Longer settled?
The money is shared amongst the players still in the tournament, no matter what their current position is or the amount of chips they have. - For a satellite tournament, two or more players won their seat. How is the Last Longer settled?
The money is shared amongst the qualified players, no matter what their current position is or the amount of chips they have
Share My Results
- What is the difference between my last winnings and my best winnings?
My last winnings will provide you with your latest Chilipoker activity. With your best winnings, you have control of the period that you want to share, allowing you to only show off your best performances. - What information is given when I share cash game results?
The number of hands and the amount won. - What is the bb/100 that I can see on my cash game results?
It is a commonly accepted way of showing your results, removing the stakes that you are playing. On average, it calculates how many big blinds you win every 100 hands.
Cash game Challenge
- I do not have the public option to set up a challenge?
Indeed, the cash game challenges have been set up to only allow private challenges. You need to know the nickname of your opponents. - What is the criteria used in the cash game challenge?
We are using the direct winnings between the two challengers. It means that it is only the money won and lost to your opponent that is taken into consideration. - Do I have to play a head's up table?
No. As we are taking only the direct winnings between the two players, you can play against other players. - Can I see the progress of my cash game challenge?
Yes, you can in "history" and "in progress". However the statistics are not updated in real time and you will observe a delay between the games and the progression of the challenge. - Can I play several cash game challenges?
Yes you can. Each of them will be considered individually. - My opponent refuses to finish the match. How is the cash game challenge settled?
The settlement of the cash game challenge is based on the number of hands played. The bet is settled to the % of hands played. For example if you bet $10 on 1,000 hands and 500 hands are played, $5 will be sent to the winner and $2.5 refunded to each player. - Are there any risks of collusion in the cash game challenge?
As only the direct winnings between the two challengers are taken into consideration, collusion will have no effect on the results. - How many players can participate in a cash game challenge?
Two players can do a cash game challenge in order to avoid any risk of collusion.
Swapping
- What is "swapping"?
Swapping is a great way to enjoy a tournament with a friend. You will get a percentage of his winnings and your friend will get a percentage of your winnings. - How much can I swap?
You can swap up to 40% in a tournament. - Can I swap with several friends in the same tournament?
Yes, as long as the total does not exceed 40% - I didn't receive the money from the swapping.
It can take a few hours to receive your winnings. As soon as it is done you will receive a confirmation message. - Can I swap with anybody?
Yes you can set up a public swapping or restrict it to a friend.
